July 7th and 8th, a weekend, is the 15th annual Babes N hats ultimate hat tournament. If you register by july 4th, it's only 25 bucks. I'm going to register today. I e-mailed the guy, and it's totally newb friendly. I'm posting this so anyone in the vancouver area on my lj can invite themselves to it. Get out, compete, have fun :) You don't even have to KNOW how to play. Just be prepared to run a bit.

It's not too late to sign up for the spirit hat. May 6th, sunday, register as a guest member at the vancouver ultimate league site, and sign up for the pm session. It's free, and just two games! It's 1pm - 4 pm, UBC fields. It's a great way to test out the ultimate waters.
