I, ironically after reading a thread about a mysterious fruit that made someone puke, that incidentally turned out to be an avacado... had avacado cravings. So went to store, got avacadoes, cut one open - and it was REALLY UNRIPE. Stingingly bitter unripe! What to do! What to do! It would take days to ripen, but as you know, avacado oxidizes quite quickly and nastily.
So I TAPED IT BACK TOGETHER!
Days later, it's ripe and ok ^_^
