I made soup from scratch!!!

Yep! I made soup from scratch ^_^ Since I don't know how to cook, I was nervous, but it came out quite nice, and even my picky beloved liked it. All the while making it, I thought of that children's book, soup from a stone.

First I took out the stockpot, put ~2l of water in it.
~5 carrots peeled and chopped into pennies.
Put in 2 veggie broth cubes.
Chopped ~4 cloves of garlic.
Next came the potatoes.
Then I added random cocso spices: dried parsley (lots), spicey italian seasoning mix (lots).
Non-cosco spices: sea food magic (large dash), and rosemary (medium large dash).
Next came the clams- in richmond they're cheap, ~$4 for a frozen kilo. In vancouver, no where to be found are clams.

After some simmering, add 3/4 can of corn, and 1/2 cup of frozen peas. Oh, don't forget the 9 drops of louisana hot sauce.

There ya go. My recipe on the fly. ^_^
